Day 01: Queen Alia Airport (Welcome to Jordan) – Amman

Day 02: Amman – Mount Nebo – Madaba - Kerak – Petra

Breakfast, transfer to Petra (the rose-red city ) along the Kings’ Highway, which has been in continuous use for the past 5,000 years and is considered one of the oldest roads in the world. on the route stop to visit Mount Nebo, Madaba, and Kerak
Arrive Petra hotel for Dinner and Overnight.

 

From Amman to Mount Nebo

Mount Nebo; start your visit from the sanctuary which is probably the place of death and burial of the Prophet’s Moses. It is one of the most holy places in Jordan, it was the place for pilgrimage for the first Christians.
The first church was built in Mount Nebo in the end of the 4th century AD to mark its historical importance.
From a platform in front of the church, you can see a bronze memorial of a snake on a cross that Symbolizes the serpent raised by Moses in the desert, as well as the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.

 

From Mount Nebo to Madaba

Madaba; this city is a gift among of many churches which are decorated with mosaics, hence its name came of City of the mosaic.
in this city you will see the map of Madaba, the mosaic map for Holy Land, and her dating from the sixth century, it’s preserve in the Church of St. George.

 

From Madaba to Kerak

Whether you approach Karak from the ancient Kings Highway to the east or from the Dead Sea to the west, the striking silhouette of this fortified town and castle will instantly make you understand why the fates of kings and nations were decided here for millennia.

An ancient Crusader stronghold, Karak sits 900m above sea level and lies inside the walls of the old city. The city today is home to around 170,000 people and continues to boast a number of restored 19th century Ottoman buildings, restaurants, places to stay, and the like. But it is undoubtedly Karak Castle that dominates.

Day 03: Petra – Wadi Rum

Breakfast, full day visit of Petra, then transfer to Wadi Rum for Dinner & Overnight under Bedouin tents.

Full day dedicated for the exploration of the breathtaking Nabatean city of Petra, which was carved out of the rose-red sandstone about 2,000 years ago & has recently been voted as one of the New Seven Wonders of the World.
The tour starts by passing by the Obelisk Tomb and then proceeding through the Siq –the narrow gorge that leads to Petra’s most impressive monument, the Treasury. Then on to the Street of Facades, the Theatre, the Royal Tombs, the Colonnaded Street, the Byzantine Church, the Temple, the Monumental Arch, Qasr el-Bint Faroun & finally climb up to the gigantic 1st century AD monument of the Monastery for those who wish.

Go on a two hours excursion by Bedouin four-wheel drive vehicles through the desert enjoying the different rock formations, inscriptions, canyons & sand dunes. They pass & stop at: Seven Pillars of Wisdom (view from a distance), al Hsany Sand Dunes, al Amaleh inscriptions, Siq Um Tawaqi.

Dead Sea water have been known for centuries that is the only place in the world where this particular combination of spa benefits exists. Peculiar sun radiation and climatic conditions, enriched oxygen atmosphere, mineral-rich sea salt, thermo-mineral springs, and mineral-rich mud all offer effective medical treatment and therapeutic benefits that attract visitors from all over the world.

You will spend an amazing time with sunbathing, swimming and dining, as well enjoy a strange experience but delightful: “float on the surface of the waters”, the buoyancy is due to the salt content nine times higher than that of ordinary seawater.
