Besides the excavated ruins from the Graeco-Roman period, Pella offers visitors the opportunity to see the remains of Chalcolithic settlement from the 4th millennium BC, evidence of Bronze and Iron Age walled cities, Byzantine churches, early Islamic residential quarters and a small medieval mosque. In addition to Jerash and Amman, Gadara (now Umm Qays) and Pella (Tabaqit Fahl) were once Decapolis cities, and each has unique appeal.
Um Qais is one of the most brilliant ancient Greco-Roman cities of the Decapolis. Perched on a splendid hilltop overlooking the Jordan Valley and the Sea of Galilee, Umm Qays boasts impressive ancient remains, such as the stunning black basalt theatre, the basilica and adjacent courtyard strewn with nicely carved black sarcophagi, the colonnaded main street and a side street lined with shops, an underground mausoleum, two baths, a nymphaeum, a city gate and the faint outlines of what was a massive hippodrome. D07: FEYNAN – PETRA (B)

After breakfast, Transfer To Petra , enjoy a guided tour of Petra, the "Rose Red City". You can either walk or ride an Arabian horse to the entrance of the Siq. The approach through the cool gloom of the Siq, a long narrow gorge whose steeply rising sides all but obliterate the sun, provides a dramatic contrast with the magic to come. This narrow gorge opens into a natural square dominated by Petra's most famous monument, the Khazneh, more popularly known as the Treasury.
Its tall intricately carved façade glows in the dazzling sun. As you go further into this ancient city, it gradually unfolds, one monument leading to the next for kilometer after kilometer. The sheer size of the city and the quality of the beautifully carved facades is staggering and leads one to reflect on the creativity and industry of the Nabateans who made Petra their capital more than 2,000 years ago. Your local guide will cover most of the main highlights such as the Treasury, Tombs, Colonnade Street, Theatre, Color Caves and Byzantine church. You will also have some free time in the afternoon, so if you have the energy you can climb up to the Monastery, a monument of great interest and on par with the Treasury. It's worth the long climb, as you will see exceptional views from the top, stretching out over the Araba Valley
D08: PETRA – WADI RUM (B)

After breakfast, Today experience not only history, but also the unique landscapes of Wadi Rum as you take a four wheel drive jeep through the desert surrounded by towering sandstone cliffs. Wadi Rum is a vast, silent desert, both romantic and extremely beautiful; massive mountains rise vertically out of the pink desert sand, which separate one dark mass from another and the wind has eroded the faces of these sheer rock cliffs into shapes of men, animals and monsters.
Everywhere in this strange and empty place are indications of man's presence since the earliest known times. One can find flint hand axes scattered around and scratched onto the rocks and at the foot of the mountains are the names of ancient travellers. During the trip you will be introduced to the lesser known areas as well as the main sights of Wadi Rum. The highlights include natural rock bridges and mountains such as the Seven Pillars of Wisdom, also the Beau Geste, Desert Patrol Post where scenes from the famous film "Lawrence of Arabia" were shot, Dinner And Overnight In Bedouin Camp Inside The Desert .
