Breakfast At Hotel 08:00 Transfer North to Ajloun – SOAP HOUSE TRAIL HIKE Grade: Moderate / Distance: 6-7 km / Time: 3 hours Group size: 4-18 people Description: This trail begins at the Reserve's Visitor Center and takes you to the Soap House in the neighboring village of Orjan. On the way, you will hike through thick, healthy woodlands filled with oak, pistachio, and oriental strawberry trees. Take a short detour to view the ruins of a wine press before you pass one of the oldest strawberry trees in the Reserve on your way down into the valley. The trail climbs to 1,100m above sea level at Eagle's View Point, and then descends to the Soap House where local women follow the traditional process of making Orjan pure olive oil soap. Back to Entrance – Take your ride to Jarash -Visit The roman City And transfer Back to Amman for Dinner over night at Hotel BREAKFAST AT HOTEL LUNCH AT LOCAL RURAL AREA DINNER AT HOTEL
D03 AMMAN / TASET OF SAALT CITY / AMMAN
9:00 -9:45 drive to Salt Diera (45 minutes drive from Amman) 9:45 - 10:45 Experience Zaatar making with the local women farmer and interact in the making of Managiesh ( the local famous pastry) to be baked fresh in the Arabic oven and make the Holiday bread and bake it freshly in the Arabic oven too. Eat Managiesh and Holiday bread in the outdoor garden with a herbal glass of Tea. Try the Salti traditional dress too. Zaatar and Sumaq are available for sale here.
10:45- 11:15 Have a very short nice walk to the Soap making Experience under the old big Oak trees and meet with the local women of the association to teach you the making of soap and taste their local made products of olives, jam, pickles...etc . Products and soap are available for sale. 11:15- 11:45 Visit the Cave sleepover farm to see not only the cave but also Gazelles , the fish pool of water harvest , the agricultural valley...etc 11:45 - 12: 30 Jameed making experience (starts at the end of February) Here visitors learn how Jameed (dry yoghurt is made) and they can make it with the woman farmer and taste butter milk and some of the local fresh dairy products with a cup of tea as they over look the agricultural valley. 12: 30 - 1:30 Bee keeping experience; visitors get to put on the Bee keeping suit on and follow the bee keeper to the Hives to learn about Bee keeping and taste the local Honey and Pollen...Bee products are available for sale 1:30 - 4:00 Experience the Jordanian farmer life by Baking Saj bread from whole wheat grain, pick free range eggs, chase chicken, milk a goat, feed a baby sheep, ride the tractor to the wheat fields Come back for local made meal of a variety of plates, fresh from land to table under the 400 old Oak tree. 4:00 - 5:00 drive back to Amman.
